No one else is trained, or cares, or has ever had one before apparently. 20:28:20 This place makes the only good latte in town. Location - the women here make the best cappuccinos in the city! - ErinDwyer If you have trouble finding it, it's right near the part of Park Ave where Jines and Chester Cab are. Also noteworthy is their fully stocked dessert case which is soo tempting every time I visit. Never tried their fancier drinks or food though but worth checking out for sure. The coffee is amazing and super caffeinated, my favorite being the Jamaican flavor. They even brought a special type of tea onto the menu after several requests. I do wish it was a little bigger inside, but oh well. Spin's Park Ave location was good place to grab a cup of coffee and a bite to eat and then head out for a walk along the avenue. As one of the first cafés in town to offered free Wi-Fi, and with a mix of friendly people, magazines and newspapers lying around, comfy armchairs, and plentiful seating, especially during summer with sidewalk seating, popularity and success lead to two additional locations, one in High Falls and another at Four Corners. It has become such a staple of Coventry's architectural reputation that local business Etch and Pin even made it into a badge.Spin Caffe opened on Park Avenue in 2000, shortly before Spot Coffee opened in the East End. ![]() It has remained a popular site ever since with generation after generation of wide-eyed children visiting with parents or grandparents to take it in. The circular building, in the city's Lower Precinct, was part of the rebuilding project after the Second World War left much of the city centre in ruins. The concrete expanse which replaced it in the 1950s and 60s isn't always looked back on with warmth.īut one of these buildings, Coventry's famous Round Cafe, has been enthralling children for over six decades. Though parts of it remain, the once medieval element to the city was largely destroyed during the blitz of 1940. Be it the cathedrals, the priory or one of our ancient pubs, when it comes to architecture Coventry has some unique landmarks.
